This ware does not take up cargo space. It is considered a software upgrade.
This software permits players to claim ships from within their own ship, rather than having to space walk. The range is still closer, however, requiring the pilot to get within around 50m of the unclaimed vessel.
It is illegal in Commonwealth space and requires a Software Signature Scrambler to avoid trouble with police patrol scans.
Software Signature Scrambler
A device usually used in combination with System Override Software. This device prevents police scans from detecting illegal software, currently only applicable to SOS.
