===== M1 Carriers =====

M1 Carriers are dangerous combat support ships carrying entire wings of [[M5]], [[M4]] and [[M3]] fighters.

M1s are usually heavily armed and armored, but have fewer guns than [[M2]] class Destroyers, and usually have much smaller laser generators. As a rule, they can brush off attacks from Corvettes or smaller, but should not be allowed to get into a slugging match with another Capital-class ship.
